Who knew you could us Photoshop for things other than scrapbooking? Actually I've used it for a few things over the years besides digital scrapbooking. I've used it for baby showers, framed art, silhouettes, school worksheets, chore cards and homeschooling bins (I still use those bins 3 years later!). Wow, I got a little sidetracked looking at old blog posts.
I also use Photoshop to design my chalkboards. Sometimes I freestyle my chalkboards, sometimes I find something on pinterest and just copy it, but sometimes I just need to work it out in Photoshop first. I had an idea in my head, so I pulled out old, trusty Photoshop. I found some pretty fonts and just started putting things together. I love contol+J or the alt+drag to duplicate and the ctrl+z to undo. I want those buttons in real life (wouldn't it make things so much easier?). This is what I came up with in Photoshop:
Then I got to work on my chalkboard. My husband laments that I don't use a projector, or ruler for that matter. I just kind of find a center point and work out. It's not perfect, but I was happy with it.
It's my New Year's Chalkboard. It will stay up for awhile until I get bored with it, which won't be too long.
Have you used Photoshop for other projects? I want to hear about them!

I was trying to think what new verse I wanted to put on my chalkboard. This is awesome!! Thanks!
Oh good! I'm glad it inspired you. :)
I made my chalkboard and gave you inspiration credit on facebook. If you are on IG I will tag you. I'm not sure how to attach a photo here or I would! Thanks again. I really need to work on my handwriting LOL
Hmm, that's a cool way to design a chalkboard.
