Happy May!! Well, I
hope it’s a happy one for you and your family.
At least iNSD wasn’t cancelled, right??
I am having so much fun unzipping my goodies and putting them in their rightful
folders. I simply can’t wait to play with them. So since I have new things to use, I
thought I’d check out the gallery again and see what other people are
scrapping. Of course I found some fun layouts
to share with you again this month!
Look at this one by Angela Toucan.
I love the symmetry on this page as well as the semi-circles
made to look like yarn. Such a clever
idea, don’t you think? Plus, the pops of
teal spread throughout the page are really pleasant to look at too!
Now this one by sucali is simple but oh so sweet:
I love the black and white silhouette, and the way it’s
framed by the cute paper pieces really makes it stand out. The white space certainly makes the page balanced
as well, which ties in to her journal card.
It’s poetry I’m telling you!
Ohh this layout by Trish is so eye catching!
That bright bold paper next to the dark brown solid really adds
drama to the page. I also love the way
she positioned her string to mimic the paint spattering too. Super pretty!
And you have to see this one by BevG.
Aren’t those pictures fun and playful?! The colors on the page completely compliment
the photos. And you know I love when scrappers
show themselves in pictures. Friends and
families find so much enjoyment from seeing our selfies / pictures!
And even though I’ve said I been drawn to the photos in
these pages, at times a photoless page is the only way to go. Take this one by Mingo08.
I love that she so eloquently told the story of what transpired
last month with this COVID-19. Sometimes
we just need to journal to capture our feelings and document what’s happening
around us. I’d say Mingo08 did an remarkable
job at this. And don’t forget that her
paper strips are a fun way to add a visual interest. The entire layout is gorgeous!!
Well, I hope you like these layouts as much as I do and that
they inspire you to scrap some more.
After all, creative outlets radically decrease our stress don’t you
think? See you next month with some more Gallery Stand Outs!
