Hello and happy March! CTM Robin here with another step-by-step layout. Y’all, I absolutely ADORE Liz’s Artsy Journal templates and am so excited to see another one out.
Can you believe this collection is Artsy Journal Templates set 34?? I’m so glad she’s still making these and hope this series never ends!!!
As soon as I saw this one, I knew I wanted to use it to
scrap my son’s Court of Honor. Here’s
the template I started with:
Let me show you what I did with it. First I added the photos like I always do:
Next, I picked out the papers I wanted from My Man!, a collab by NBK Design & Joyce Paul. I added an extra piece of paper to balance out the khaki-colored paper strips. Well, that and I am a sucker for torn paper pieces which is another reason I love this template:
Usually, I save my text and title for last, but I wanted to make sure I could fit the story in the paper strips before placing my elements. I thought I might have needed the top cardboard paper layer for journaling, but I didn’t so I can move on:
Lastly, I added my elements, changed my title some, and adjusted my shadows and then I was done! Woo hoo!
That’s it. Thanks to Liz’s template, another layout is in my folder and ready to print during the next big sale. I hope you enjoyed seeing my process and that you have a chance to play with this amazing template as well. I know you’ll love it and use it repeatedly! See you next month 😊
