Can y’all believe it’s October already? I can’t because that means the holiday season
is almost here and I’m not ready for it!
Well, a new month means a new GSO blog post so I’m excited to bring this
one to you today. With DSD just here, Liz’s
gallery is just FULL of gorgeous layouts.
I’m going to show you a few now:
This one by flowersgal is gorgeous. I love the painted
background and the frames on her photos look just like the traditional
scrapbooking I know and love!
Next is this one by fruitysuet. I’m not sure who’s cuter, the cat or the little girl 😊 I love the paper choices she made and her repeated round shapes throughout the page are a perfect balance to those 90-degree angles!
I’m always in favor of good journaling so you know I had to show off this one by Aussiegirl. Her story is so detailed, and I love that because we all think we will remember those moments, but we never do. What a great page!
Remember when I mentioned how much I love journaling? Check this layout by carrie1977. I love that she’s captured her own thoughts about choices and that she’s not afraid to scrap those thoughts or that gorgeous selfie. Journaling really does help clear the mind so if you don’t want to tell a story, journal anyway because it’s cheaper than therapy!
Y’all, READ this journaling by Brendazzle Her story is as beautiful as her great photograph. She’s said she’s lucky to get this shot, but I think she’s more talented than she knows! I love the circle around both the image and the text and the way she placed her stars and splatters perfectly mimic the Milky Way.
